A mother and daughter on their way to the family fields. BURUNDI.

The couple were tending the family’s maize field a short distance from their home. The soft lighting produced by the overcast conditions at the time has reduced the overall contrast of the image. This has allowed greater detail to be captured in area, which otherwise would have been rendered as deep shadow.
