A local family makes their way home during a sandstorm. SUDAN.
When sandstorms roll over a settlement most villagers seek shelter. Some people, however, continue undeterred, oblivious to the blasts of stinging sand. In a sandstorm light levels and colour change dramatically as is shown in this image. No colour filter was used. The sharp outline of the tree accentuates the motion- blur of the family as they slowly pass on their way.
