Travellers enter Nyala town during a sandstorm. SUDAN.
The four travellers emerged from the desert at the height of a particularly bad sandstorm. The lowered ears of the donkeys display the animals’ displeasure. The masking effect of the sand in the air has created an interesting image where most background detail has been rendered just discernable. A slow shutter speed has allowed motion to be recorded, which I feel an image taken under these conditions needs to display.
